Introducing Piplette
From Alice Ritter ‘s studio, please welcome Piplette
Piplette is Alice’s second line, launching exclusively at Urban Outfitters in July 2011.
The line will offer the bohemian and ultra feminine style that defines Alice Ritter, at friendlier prices: long dresses, embroidered tops and skirts made in light, flowing and colorful fabrics.
Born from a desire to reach a larger public, Piplette is anchored in Alice’s French origins and effortlessly stylish nonchalance.
The collection is flirty, fun and fearless with echoes from the Past: Victorian undergarments, lace yoke mixed with embroidered chiffon and draping crepe fabrics.
It is a fusion of modern and classic pieces: high waist skirts, bright red maxi dresses mixed with romantic tunics to be worn over denim.
The SS11 color palette goes from neutral cream, light grey to bright red, berry and dark blue.
Our Piplette girl is bold and quirky. She has natural style and nonchalance that is never over stated.
She hangs out Boulevard Beaumarchais in Paris or in Brooklyn with the same ease and curiosity.
