Blake, owner and buyer of her namesake NYC boutique, is an export of New Jersey by way of a stint working in London PR.
We're obsessed with the Lower East Side and for the last year have taken pleasure in dressing her friends, neighbors, and strangers from New York and cities and countries abroad.
Every line carried in the boutique is hand chosen for its high quality, unique design, and perfect attention to detail. If we wouldn’t wear it we are not going to sell it. Consistently influenced by this neighborhood, each piece reflects its cutting edge sensibility – comfort clothing for the wild child who’s just a little rough around the edges.
The boutique itself maintains an emphasis on making passionate hard work fun. This ethos is reflected through every facet of Blake Scotland: The hot, clever staff, boyfriends smoking on the bench out front, creative excuses to host events – albeit increasingly fashion focused. There’s no I in team. We aren’t shy about pooling our resources. We boast a family of friends who turn ideas and dreams into reality.
