In the upcoming seasons we can expect to see further developments in The Jessica Simpson Collection- with expansions into belts and cold weather accessories, lingerie, footwear for the tween market and ultimately the debut of a signature apparel collection. It’s an exciting time for the Jessica Simpson line and the Camuto Group, the master licensee of the Jessica Simpson Collection, as the brand is setting forth in motion rapid expansion into other product categories.
Holiday 2008: The Camuto Group has entered into a strategic license agreement with Max Leather Group Inc. to design, manufacture and distribute Jessica Simpson belts and cold-weather accessories including gloves, scarves and headwear. The new product assortments will be sold in select department stores and specialty stores nationwide.
Spring 2009: Jessica Simpson together with the Camuto Group has announced a partnership with New York based lingerie design and manufacturing house, Muse Inc. Under the design direction of the Jessica Simpson label, Muse will produce and distribute a full collection of intimate apparel, inspired by the star’s lifestyle. Launching Spring 2009, the line consists of lingerie, night/loungewear and day styles. Initially launching in major department and specialty stores nationwide this Fall, the line looks to expand worldwide. “The collection is fun, flirty and exactly what I would want to wear,” says Jessica Simpson.
Jessica Simpson Dresses:
The Camuto Group has additionally entered into an exclusive multi-year licensing agreement with G-III Apparel Group, Ltd. GIII, to design, develop, manufacture and distribute a line of contemporary dresses under the 'Jessica Simpson' label.
Debuting with a soft launch for Spring 2009 with a complete roll-out expected for the Fall 2009 season, the clothing line will continue to deliver on the brand promise of providing the consumer with stylish, contemporary product. “I’m extremely excited to be expanding into the dress market,” stated Jessica Simpson. “I plan on creating beautiful dresses in distinctive fabrics and silhouettes that are reflective of my personal style and offer something special to the market place.”
All future directions for the company ensure to maintain the core element of the collection: "American and Feminine, Forward but Classically Familiar, Sexy Yet Sweet, Vintage at Times but Always Of-The- Moment."
